Looking at the future of recruitment in Ireland
Our Director of Resourcing Communications, Martin Cerullo, spent 3 days last week in Ireland meeting with clients. He also spoke at a couple of high profile conferences, which went down a storm.
First up was the second part of our Future of Recruitment session at the Irish Recruiters Conference. The event was hosted by Declan Fitzgerald of Microsoft and held in the Westbury Hotel. Martin looked at the challenges AMS and RPOs in general face and the technologies we are using to help our clients meet future challenges and seize opportunities.
Next up was a conference on bringing consumer marketing techniques into the world of HR, hosted by AMS, in the stunning Morgan Hotel in Temple Bar. Addressing 15 recruitment professionals from companies including Deloitte, eBay, Accenture and Aer Arann, Martin focused on the business case for building a strong employer brand and shared the latest thinking on how to get the broader business to buy into the concept.
The events got some great feedback in the blogosphere, with one attendant describing AMS as ‘the benchmark we should all strive towards’ and another immediately taking Martin’s advice on the correct use of YouTube for recruitment.
